There are 185 children in the School. 43 of these are destitute children, who must be fully sponsored by the school and its supporters. The remaining children are day pupils from the surrounding community. Approximately 50% of the day children pay a nominal registration fee and the rest are given free education. The main source of funding is through individual sponsorship of children. The Trust is not supported by any NGO's or other organizations. The operational budget for 2004 was in the region of Shs.1.7 million (US$ 21,794). Individual children can be sponsored annually for US$ 400. Teacher sponsorship is also possible at US$ 2400 per year. By sponsoring a teacher to teach at the School, a large number of children are directly sponsored. Sponsoring teacher education programs is also of immediate benefit to the school and to the children.
